Getting close!!!!

This morning the whole team went to the orphanage and were greeted by smiling, cheering children. The kids were delighted with the now famous “chicken skit” performed by Tim, Randy, Karen, Ryan and Mike. It will be hard to leave the children and especially the orphanage workers who have become dear friends.

Tim Reed inspected the latrine and two wells and some of the men made the trek to the well with multiple containers to fill with water—making a stop at the crocodile pen where two crocodiles are being grown for slaughter. Anyone for croc roping?

In the afternoon the men finished the shelves in the medical clinic and the women took inventory of all the medical supplies. We are seeing a lot of our tasks being completed and have felt the Lord’s leading and protection at every turn.

At the Wednesday night service Pastor Wesley spoke from I John on the love of God and we ended with a time of prayer. We prayed for our children, the ones who are sick with malaria and the ones away from the Lord feeling such a common bond of faith

So by now you guys must be on the way somewhere between here and there. I am looking forward to hearing from you all once you return. Safe journey home and blessings of rest on your way. Job well done servants!

To those going on to the next mission - may the Lord watchover and bless your journey and your time at your destination. Greet the brothers and sisters in Jesus with a holy kiss for me, especially the precious Burger and Taban families.
